With moves like fire punch, electric punch, and so on, Hitmonchan may not have a weakness, but before it learns moves like that, here are some pokémon elements to battle Hitmonchan against..Good against ice, rock, and normal types, but weak against poison, flying, psychic, and bug pokémon.

It's tongue is supposed to be twice as long as it's body. Lickitung has stripes on it's stomach, knee, and a spot on the bottom of it's hands.

A mime pokémon that is a good addition to a team of pokémon! When you get it, it knows "Barrier" and Confusion attack!

Vulnerable to psychic types, but will defeat a fighting or poison type in battle easily!

A human shaped pokémon.

Trade a Poliwhirl for a Jynx at Cerulean City.
Good against fighitng, grass, ground, poison, flying, rock, but weak against fire, water, ice, and psychic types.

A strong, tiger-like pokémon.

Capture it in the Power Plant(Need red version to capture Electabuzz.)
Good against water, flying, but bad against electric, dragon and grass types.

Fire
A pokémon made out of flames. It has a duck bill on it's face and spikes on it's back.

Capture it in Cinnabar Island(You need Blue Version to capture Magamar!)
Good against plant, ice, and bug types, but avoid battling with it when your opponet is using a water, rock, dragon, or another fire type!

Looks like a stag beetle. It has powerful attacks like Vice Grip, Seismic Toss, and Guillotine!!

Good against plant, psychic, but vulnerable to fire, birds, fighting, and ghost types!

Normal
Looks like a bull with three tails. Tauros is very hard to find!

Water
A fish pokémon. When you capture it in Vermillion city, all it knows is the attack "Splash.." And it doesn't effect it's opponet. But try to make it grow to level 20 by placing it on the top of your list, then, when a trainer comes to battle you, switch to another pokémon!
Evolves into Gyarados at level 20.
Capture it everywhere with an "Old Rod."
Fire attacks, ground attacks, and rock attacks won't really effect a well trained Magicarp. But Magicarp is always vulnerable to grass, water, electric, and dragon types.

Looks like a dragon! Training a Magicarp pays off when it evolves!

Good against dragon, fire, ground, fighting, bug, grass, but weak electric, water, and other dragon types.

Lapras looks like a large sea turtle and is really beautiful.

Someone in Saffron City gives you Lapras before you defeat Giovianni at Silph Co.
Good against fighting, ground, rock, and fire types. Bad against electric pokémon.

Normal
Ditto is a good pokémon to have in battle! All it learns is Transform, but that attack is really good!

Catch it at Pokémon League, in the Unknown Dungeon, and near Fuschia City.
Good against a lot of types after it transforms! But if a rock pokémon attacks before it does, Ditto might faint.

Normal
Looks kind of like a little dog. Eevee's name might come from the word "evoulution."
Evolves into Vaporeon with a Water Stone, Jolteon with a Thunder Stone, or Flareon with a Fire stone.
Someone in Celadon city gives you Eevee.
Bad against rock types..

Water
Some think that Vaporeon is a mermaid because of it's tail. Vaporeon has three fins, on the top of it's head, and the other two on each side of it's head.

Eevee grows spikes! It turns yellow and grows a white spiky mane.

Choose the Helix fossil at Mt. Moon, and revive it at Cinnabar island!

Omanyte grows tentacles and later learns Spike Cannon!

It grows sharp claws and learns Hydro Pump attack after evolving.

Normal
A large, sleeping, pokémon. Snorlax is found in only two locations. Once you fail to capture both, you won't be able to capture a Snorlax ever! Snorlax is good for battling after it learns the attack "Hyper Beam."

This beautiful bird pokémon is very rare; So rare that you can only capture it once in the game.

Bad against electricity, and fire types. It's good to use in a battle against a bug, fighting, ground, grass, or bird pokémon.

A spiky, yellow, bird pokémon.

It's in the power plant.
Good against flying, fighting, and bug types, but weak against rock and electric pokémon.

Fire and flying
A bird that's made out of fire. It's tough to capture if you don't have a water pokémon..

Good against ice, bug, grass, and fighting types. Weak against electric, water, and rock types.

Dragon
A blue pokémon with a white stomach, mouth, and ears.
Evolves into Dratini at level 30
It's found in Fuschia city.
Good against dragon, and has no weaknesses.

Dragon
Dratini grows a horn, and wings for ears. It's name might mean "Dragon of the air."(Dragonof the air.)
Evolves at level 55.
Found.. no where! You must evolve a Dratini!
Good against dragon, and has no weaknesses.
•#149 Dragonite
Dragon
An orange dragon with green wings.

You must train a Dragonair until it evolves.
Good against dragon, and has no weaknesses.
•#150 Mewtwo
Psychic
Mewtwo was created in a lab by scientists who want to create the ultimate fighting pokémon. They did it, but did too good a job. Mewtwo is now level 70, and probably won't let any trainer capture it..

In the Unknown Dungeon. You can capture it with an Ultra Ball, but you can skip battling it and throw a master ball.
Good against fighting and poison types, but is vulnerable to other psychic pokémon.
