Rating: 10 out of 10

I give Pokémon Yellow this rating because:

  • The pokémon look much better. Click here for more information.
  • The game is like the TV show. Click here for more information.
  • You can see what Pikachu feels like during the game.Click here for more information.
  • The introduction at the beginning is really cool.Click here for more information.
  • The game helps you win. Click here for more information.

But remember! Pokémon Gold and Silver will be much more better than Pokémon Yellow!

Some pokémon in Yellow version look great! Here's a list of the ones I think look good...

  • Bulbasaur
  • Ivysaur
  • Charmander
  • Charmeleon
  • Squirtle
  • Wartortle
  • Metapod
  • Butterfree
  • Kakuna
  • Beedrill
  • Pidgey
  • Pidgeotto
  • Rattata
  • Raticate
  • Fearow
  • Ekans
  • Pikachu
  • Raichu

  • Gastly
  • Haunter

Those are the pokémon that I think look the best.. If you are mad that a pokémon that you like isn't on this list, keep in mind that I may not have seen it yet(I've only seen, like, eighty-four..). However, if it's a pokémon that I've definently seen, e-mail me nicely - That means no yelling, no threats, no insults - and I might put your pokémon on the list.. But I will only add a pokémon if at least five people e-mail me and ask without threatening, insulting, or yelling at me to add it to the list. Taking a pokémon off this list works the same way.

The pokémon yellow version is like the TV show because:

  • Jessie and James right before you exit Mt. Moon, before you battle Giovianni at the Celadon City Game Corner, and at the top of Pokémon tower. Click here to find out hwo Team Rocket battles you.
  • You start off with Pikachu. You can see him follow you around on the Game boy(He doesn't follow you after he faints).
  • You are able to get Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur.
  • You can find Pidgeotto in Viridian Forest. You can't find Weedle, so I guess you have to capture a Caterpie or Metapod and train it until it evolves into Butterfree.
  • The Gym Leaders battle with the same pokémon. Brock battles with Geodude and Onix, Misty battles with her Starmie and Staryu, Lt. Surge battles with only a Raichu, Erica battles with a Tangela, Weepinbell, and Gloom, Sabrina battles with an Abra, Kadabra, and Alakazam... This list will grow as I get more badges...
